Our Farm & Family

Sheldon Creek Canadians is located on a modest four-acre parcel situated in an enclave of two-acre country homes, locally called ranchettes, twenty minutes south of downtown Sacramento, just east of U.S. 99. An exclusive equestrian trail runs between the ranchettes separating the properties at the back. A thirty-five acre protected wetlands adjacent to our property is home to various endangered wildlife species and provides a buffer between the surrounding development and adjacent ranchettes.

The Canadians we raise are ideally suited for the all-purpose horse family. We have a little bit of everything. Honey B is ideally suited for driving and English Pleasure. Jasmine and Kojak are ideal for jumping, eventing, field hunting, lower levels of dressage, and trail. Hanna is ideal for Western and English Pleasure, trail, or driving. All of our Canadians are well-mannered, quiet, and friendly family horses. They truly live up to the reputation of the Little Iron Horse.
